Well, the Mission 360 fund raiser bicycle ride from Santa Cruz to Malibu went wonderfully! The support crew was FANTASTIC and the organization was superb. It was a beautiful experience and, apart from a bought of food-poisoning, I thoroughly enjoyed it!

OK, so I’m all packed and ready to head to the initial meeting area for the Mission 360 fund raiser bicycle ride. I’ll be leaving this afternoon and heading to Galt where we’ll be loading all gear, etc into the vans. Then, I’ll spend the night at Ty’s to get an early (6am) start tomorrow.
The itinerary is:
Saturday, June 21, 5:45 am
Meet at HCC to load up and leave at 6 am sharp, arrive at starting point near Santa Cruz, ride 60 miles to Pfeiffer Big Sur campground
Sunday, June 22
Big Sur to San Simeon State Beach
Monday, June 23
San Simeon State Beach to Pismo State Beach
Tuesday, June 24
Pismo State Beach to Flying Flags RV Resort, Buellton
Wednesday, June 25
Buellton to Ventura campground
Thursday, June 26
Ventura to Malibu, load up in Malibu and drive to Hilton Hotel Universal City (across street from Universal Studios)
Friday, June 27
Universal City to Galt

Well, I’m preparing for a 360-mile bicycle ride over 6 days (from Santa Cruz to Malibu); it’s a fund-raiser ride with some friends & co-workers. We’ll be raising funds for a school in Lesotho, South Africa - you can get more info here:
Today is the birthday of one of the most important people in my life: my mother, Rita. I’d like to say that I have so much appreciation for the times I’ve spent with my mom, for the wonderful lessons she’s taught me, the unconditional support I’ve always received from her and for the example of loving, determination and joy she’s been for me.
Thank you, mom! I love you!!
I have been filled with inspiration lately; so many blessings taking place in my life. I feel extremely present and “in tune” with my body, mind, emotions and Spirit. I think about all that is going so well in my life and I feel grateful. I want to share that but, more importantly, I want others to have that for themselves.
I feel that this picture exemplifies, to some extent, my journey; as I look ahead of me, I see that others have tread where I am heading, but I know I have a choice to create my own footsteps… and to reach a destination of my own choosing…
